Anna
I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language both in Italy and in the UK, being qualified in both countries. Although I am not an English native speaker, my passion for methodology and for learner-centred teaching have made me an eager learner too. Apart from my MA in Modern Foreign Languages, I hold indeed a Cambridge CELTA certificate and a Master's degree in "Instructional Design and Technology" from University of Maryland Global Campus.
I am a freelance course creator (EFL/IELTS and Cambridge Suite), a teacher trainer, dealing with future (AB24-AB25 Italian "Concorso") and experienced teachers. As an educational consultant and specialist in the use of Thinking Routines (Harvard Project Zero) and formative assesment, I have also worked with IPRASE and trained newly appointed teachers of English, so to help them enhance Learner Agency and feedback strategies in the classroom.
I am also an Academic IELTS trainer, volunteer mentor in the course Blended and Online Learning Design" for University College London and a certified Google Educator (level 2).
Having worked with both teenagers and adults, I have decided to focus on the latter, in order to support their English upskilling journey, making it unique and engaging.

I am a psychologist specialised in psychotherapy, appointed by the Lazio Register of Psychologists.
I am a school trainer for new recruits and teaching staff for school inclusion and learning disorders.
I regularly treat children and young people with learning disorders, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, behavioural disorders, attention disorders and hyperactivity.
I specialise in individual and couples cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy, parent-training and teacher-training.

I am an expert in customer care, administration and business management. I have gained experience both in Italy and abroad (the UK, Greece, Spain) in the hospitality and transport area.
As Front Office and Duty Manager, I have strived to improve my communicative and organisational skills. I have successfully followed courses abroad in assertiveness and multicultural awareness, as well as HR fundamentals.
I have always made problem solving, attention to detail and customer satisfaction my guiding principles.
At Top You Up I accompany each learner throughout their journey (from the very first contact to the end of the lessons) and answer (almost!) every question.
